- Essential Duties and Responsibilities Identifies customer applications and programs that present an opportunity for SCHUNK Workholding, Toolholding or Automation sales. Proposes solutions to these customers and leverages resources from inside sales and distribution partners to achieve sales target. Responsible for the long-term development and implementation of sales and marketing processes and plans for the product group. Travels throughout assigned territory to call on regular or prospective customers in support of sales person and sales distribution partners. Implement strategic plans and tactics to optimize market share and profitability. Research and provide feedback regarding new product development, marketing data and product sales potential. Cooperate with HQ to obtain product knowledge and gain full understanding of corporate policies and practices. Prepares reports of business transactions and maintains expense reports. Investigates and works with prospective and existed customer. Resolve customer complaints with customer service/technical department. Directly supervise subordinate employees within respective territory. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies, procedures and applicable laws. Assist SCHUNK management with special projects and assignments when requested. Qualifications Above five years sales working experience with or in the related/target industry. Prior supervisory or management experience highly desired. Must demonstrate the ability to effectively introduce respective products to the market. Must work with minimum supervision and motivate team members to work and function as a team to provide energetic customer service. Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects meeting customer demands and SCHUNK business needs. Must understand the component manufacturing and sales industry, industry trends and have ability to formulate action plan for future sales and marketing activities. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to write and analyze reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
